Filing Clerk
Key Responsibilities:
  • Filing of documents and correspondences.
  • Code files for proper placement and retrieve files as necessary.
  • Ensure files are accessible; the room is well lit and neat.
  • Purge old files and ensure no materials in file are lost
  • Create new entries as needed.
  • Fax and photocopy files.
  • Process and scan files to be entered into computer in digital database.
  • Work with electronic storage media, such as hard drives, floppy drives, and CD‐ROMs.
  • Use scanners to convert forms, receipts, and reports into electronic format.
Job Requirements:
  • Diploma in Records management or related disciplines.
  • Candidate must posses’ knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Must have at least 1‐2 years experience.
  • Knowledge in insurance is an added advantage.

Main Mandate
  • As the Chief Executive Officer and Secretary of the Association is accountable to the Board of Directors and shall strategically lead, develop and direct implementation of work plans of the organization in line with its Vision, Mission and Strategic Orientations as well as those of Inades Formation International Network.
  • Ensure Inades Formation Kenya is positioned as a leading NGO in promoting the Socio Economic advancement and well being of disadvantaged categories of people in Kenya, especially rural communities, to deserve public and stakeholder’s confidence and trust to ensure that Inades Formation brand is respected within the Country and Internationally.
  • Ensure excellent standards in the management of the human, capital and technical resources of Inades Formation Kenya which include inspiring and maintaining high standards of work and clear accountability to stakeholders.
Qualifications
A Masters Degree or equivalent in a development related field:
  • Agriculture, agricultural extension, development studies, environmental sciences, micro finance e.t.c.
  • Minimum three years experience in NGO management, strategic management, project management or similar field.
  • Experience in management of donor relationships and demonstrated ability in developing successful proposals, successful project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
  • Experience in building and managing strategic alliances, strong interpersonal/networking skills and assertiveness .
  • Fluent in English and Kiswahili (spoken and written), knowledge of French will be an added advantage.
